The Friends of the Issaquah Library are dedicated to enhancing the role of the Issaquah Library as a vital resource and an asset critical to the culture, education, and welfare of our community.

Membership is open to individuals and families who enjoy supporting library programs and activities. Friends volunteers lead the organization, raise funds to support library programs, and coordinate the Book Shelf Program at the Issaquah Food and Clothing Bank. Volunteers actively participate in the Spring and Fall Book Sales and maintain the Friends Book Sale area inside the library.

Proceeds from activates are used to sponsor library programs for children, teens and adults.

FOIL Board Meetings

Friendsí board meetings are generally held the second Wednesday of the month, September through June, at 7PM at the Issaquah Library.† We welcome new members to our meetings.

Spring Book Sale April 27th and 28th

Book Donations Needed!



The Spring Book Sale planning is in full swing, so mark your calendars. Volunteers will sort books on Thursday and Friday, April 25th and 26th in preparation for the weekend sale. The members only preview sale is Friday,  April 26th, 5:30 -- 7 PM. The general sale is Saturday from 10 -- 5 PM and Sunday from 1 -- 5 PM. For those who plan way ahead, the fall sale is November 2nd and 3rd with the membors only sale the day before.
