Fall Book Sale

The FOIL Fall Book Sale features thousands of books (hard cover, paperback, on CD and audiotape), collectibles, children’s books, tons of fiction, tons of non-fiction, and movies on DVD and yes, VHS. 

FOIL Members Preview Sale

Friday, November 3rd, 5:30 — 7PM

Not a member? Not a problem.  You can get a membership at the door, $10 for individuals and $20 for a family.

 

Public Sale

 

Saturday, November 4th, 10 — 5PM

Everybody welcome!  Hardcover Books are $2, most other items are $1.  Mass market paperbacks and children’s books are 3 for $1. 

 

Sunday Bargain Bag Sale

Sunday November 5th, 1 — 5PM

Same reasonable prices as Saturday, or have fun filling a grocery bag with your favorites for $5.  Now that’s a bargain.

Sale Volunteers Needed

The nominal list of slots is as follows:

Thursday November 2nd

    -- Room setup, 4:00PM – need volunteers who can do heavy lifting

    -- Book sorting, 5:00 – 8:PM – lots of volunteers to move heavy boxes and to

    sort books by category. Light dinner provided.

 

Friday, November 3rd

   -- Book Sorting, 10AM - 3:30PM – need volunteers to sort books by category

   -- Book Sale, 5:30 - 7PM – volunteers to sort books, replenish sale tables and to cashier. Please arrive by 5:15 PM

 

Saturday, November 4th

   -- Book Sale, 10AM - 5PM – need volunteers to cashier and orgnaize the tables.

Available shifts:

   10 AM – 12 Noon

   12 Noon – 2PM

   2PM – 5PM

 

Sunday, November 5th -- Book Sale

    1PM - 5PM – need volunteers to cashier and organize the tables. Available shifts:

    1 PM – 3

    3 PM – 5PM

   -- Clean Up, 5 - 6PM – 10 volunteers needed to box up unsold books, stack boxes and teardown tables..

 

As an added incentive for volunteering, you may do some book shopping while working.
